Delete Your Account
You have the right to delete your KHELIQ account and all associated personal data. This page explains how.
⚠ Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted, you will lose access to all your data, match history, and any active KHELIQ Pro subscription features. Please ensure you have cancelled any active subscriptions before requesting deletion.
How to Delete Your Account
There are two ways to delete your KHELIQ account:
Option 1: From within the App (Recommended)
- Open the KHELIQ app and sign in to your account
- Tap the Account tab (bottom navigation)
- Scroll to the bottom and tap “Delete Account”
- Read the confirmation prompt and tap “Yes, Delete My Account”
- Your account deletion will be processed within 30 days
Option 2: Email Request
If you cannot access the app, send an email to support@kheliq.com with:
- Subject line: Account Deletion Request
- The email address associated with your KHELIQ account
- A brief statement confirming you wish to delete your account
We will verify your identity and confirm deletion within 5 business days. Your data will then be permanently deleted within 30 days of confirmation.
What Gets Deleted
Upon account deletion, the following personal data is permanently removed:
- Your account profile and email address
- Authentication credentials and linked sign-in methods
- Match preferences, followed teams, and personalisation settings
- Push notification tokens and device registrations
- Usage history and in-app activity linked to your account
- Any other personal data we hold about you
What We May Retain
After account deletion, we may retain certain data in the following limited circumstances:
- Legal obligations: If applicable law requires us to retain certain records (e.g., transaction logs for tax or compliance purposes), we will retain only what is legally required for the minimum required period.
- Aggregated analytics: Anonymised, aggregated statistical data that cannot be linked to any individual may be retained indefinitely for model improvement purposes.
- Dispute records: If you have an open dispute or legal claim with us, we may retain relevant records until the matter is fully resolved.
Subscription Cancellation
Important: Deleting your KHELIQ account does not automatically cancel your App Store or Google Play subscription. You must cancel your subscription separately through your device’s subscription management settings before your next billing date to avoid further charges. KHELIQ cannot issue refunds for charges made by Apple or Google after account deletion.
Timeline Summary
- In-app deletion: Immediate deactivation; data deleted within 30 days
- Email request: Identity confirmed within 5 business days; data deleted within 30 days of confirmation
- Backup copies: May persist in secure backups for up to 90 days before being fully purged
